ATTOI initiated a co-operartive society which include the Kerala Tourism Fraternity and we have successfully done the inauguration of much
awaited Society for Kerala Tourism. Honourable Tourism Minister Sri.Kadakampalli Surendran was inaugurated the Function. Mr. C Vinod, ATTOI President presided, Mrs Rani Geroge,
Tourism Secretary and Mr. P Balakiran, Tourism Director was given the felicitation. The primary objectives of the Society are support to its members
and then enable them to attain increased income and savings.



Association of Tourism Trade Organisations India (ATTOI) is proud that we are recognised with Safe Travels Protocols approved by the World Travel and Tourism Council. Health and safety continue to be the highest priority and we are confident that the Safe Travels stamp will serve as a signal of trust and confidence and will be an opportunity for the tourism stakeholders with a Safe Travels stamp to attract more visitors and recover the tourism as soon as possible.

WTTC believes standard protocols globally will bring order in ensuringauthenticity and trust, to bring back travel and tourism on its feet again. ATTOI has organised a tourism webinar on TOURISM REVIVAL TRENDS on August 6, featuring two eminent individuals – Claudia Wagner, managing director of German tour operator FIT Reisen and Muralee Thummarukudy, Chief of Disaster Risk Reduction in the United Nations Environment Programme. The theme of the webinar is “We will overcome”. Shri Kadakampally Surendran, Tourism Minister Inaugurated the webinar and Ms. Rani George to felicitate the first webinar in the history of Kerala Tourism..

Ms. Claudia Wagner, took the topic ‘Impact of Covid-19 and the revival of tourism, it was an hour section and she stated about the global tourism after Covid

Mr. Muralee Thummarukudy delivered his talk in Malayalam on the subject ‘Is there a spring season awaiting Kerala tourism?’



ATTOI also conduct a zoom meeting with the YAT 2018 participants
“Reliving YAT 2018”, to memorize the wonderful days of YAT 2018 and to
celebrate International Yoga Day 2020 at 5pm on 21st June. It was a
wonderful experience to celebrate International Yoga Day 2020 with YAT
2018 participants.



During COVID 19 period ATTOI conduct the First ever Zoom meeting in the
History of Kerala Tourism to discuss about how better we can use this free
time to increase our business once the situation get resumed. The First
meeting was on 31st March for its Kerala members and on 01st April for ATTOI
National Members. Kerala Tourism Secretary Smt Rani George IAS and  ATTOI President Shri C S Vinod lead the meeting.

 

In connection with the first Successful zoom
meeting of ATTOI, conducted a virtual meet with
Tourism Secretary Mrs. Rani George on April 06,
thereafter a Virtual conference conducted with
Tourism Minister Mr. Kadakampalli Surendran on
April 07 a massive participation was the highlight
of the program, more than 140 representatives
attended. In this meeting ATTOI President Mr.
Vinod shared some valuable ideas with Minister
like formation of a Tourism Welfare Board and a
Tourism Co Operative society for the Employees
and Employers. Honourable minister was
surprised and extended his support to the
formation of Society and entrusted ATTOI to take
the lead.

Association of Travel Trade Organizations, India organized 3rd edition of
technology conference in India named International Conference on Tourism
Technology, was held at the Le Meridien, Kochi, Kerala from 26th to 27th
September 2019.


ICTT 2019’s official inauguration was held on 26th September evening which
was graced by Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Shri Kadakampally Surendran,
Shri. Hibi Eden, MP, Shri P Bala Kiran IAS, Director Kerala Tourism, Shri Rahul IRS,Managing Director KTDC, Shri Manzoor T A, Managaing Director Bekal
Resorts Development Corporation, Shri. E M Najeeb, President Confederation of Kerala Tourism Industry. This was followed by a networking dinner.

11 speakers over two actions packed days covered 11 interesting topics.
Needless to say each one of them gave out amazing insights, learning and tips
to leave the candidates saner and smarter. Delegates consisted of hoteliers,
home stay owners, tour operators, travel agents, technology companies,
transporters and media from across India. We have about 200 delegates out of
which 64 were tour operator and 93 were hoteliers.



ATTOI organised a fam tour for our members in association with one of
ATTOI;s Goan member Freedom Holidays and Goa Tourism Development
Corporation (GTDC) on 13th to 16th June 2019. In this 04 Days Tour there was
28 members from ATTOI participated. It was a well organized program all are
enjoyed the Goan Hospitality. Nothing much to say simply superb, from the
pick up till drop everything went smooth and they have handled things in a
professional way. Really it was a different experience. We are sure that our
members had a productive FAM tour in Goa.
